MISSION & OBJECTIVES

Our Mission Statement: The Greater Holyoke Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization whose mission is to strengthen the economy of Greater Holyoke by representing and involving the business community in public policy decisions affecting the business climate, by helping individual businesses to prosper, and by creating a community environment conducive to economic opportunity and a positive quality of life.

Our Objectives:

1. To provide members with opportunities to develop their markets, their expertise, and their profitability.
2. To help Holyoke develop its potential as a community attractive to business investment, tourism, and livability.
3. To assist Greater Holyoke residents to meet their potential as self sufficient citizens and productive employees.
4. To inform, organize, and represent the business community in local, state, and national legislative issues impacting the potential and well-being of business and industry in Greater Holyoke.
5. To build an expanding and financially sound organization capable of supporting all aspects of the Chamber’s mission; to insure that the Chamber remains an independent organization committed to the City of Holyoke and to cooperative state and regional activity that will stimulate economic opportunity for area businesses and residents.
